Leroy Merlin wanted to conduct a detailed assessment of how its own, and third party applications and tools were being utilised by its workforce, in order to identify areas where usage could be enhanced or optimised.
The company’s teams drew on data and insight from various applications and tools, including third-party platforms, to manage operations including sales performance, systems performance and the management of in-store offers and promotions. Opportunities existed to enhance the output and usage of these systems, while also developing new reporting and visualisation layers, to make it easier for the company to interpret and make decisions based on available data.
Maltem deployed a team of six experts in systems engineering, agile and scrum methodology, to support Leroy Merlin’s project leaders in evaluating its current application utilisation, and tools to optimise this going forward. Maltem also supported the development of new visualisation tools and business operations reporting to support the provision of insight back to stores on performance, and predictive analysis based on store data, of future sales and promotional opportunities.
