AXA Technology Services was undertaking a major digital transformation initiative focused on transitioning the business and core operations. The initiative included deployment of a new managed public cloud able to be accessed by its approved vendors, and private cloud infrastructure to support in-house product build and development activities.
The objective of the investment by AXA was to deliver the enhanced services to its stakeholders and inhouse teams, while also enabling greater cost efficiency and productivity, ensuring knowledge, skills and software assets were shared and optimised across the company.
Maltem supported AXA in delivery of this project by developing build and run practices. Maltem built various tools to support software asset delivery, producing reusable components to accelerate in-house team’s delivery of future initiatives. Maltem also supported staff engagement with the new infrastructure and systems, to install a new culture of contemporary software engineering across the company’s operations.
